Job Description:

Charity Action Recruitment is looking to employ a Recruitment
Consultant on a full-time permanent basis to work within our established, successful recruitment consultancy.

As a specialist provider of permanent, contract and temporary staffing solutions to a diverse range of charitable and non-profit organisations across London, the successful candidate will be working with many of the leading charities in the UK, both on the telephone and face to face.

Working in a team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing a broad portfolio of candidates & clients, to generate a sustainable income stream for the organisation & its parent charity. Working to established targets, your duties will include selecting & filtering suitable candidates for registration & interview; regular sales calls & client visits to generate vacancies & leads; producing advertisements, promotional literature and exhibiting at various events; administrative systems/procedures and managing the team administrator’s workload.

This post would suit an energetic self-starter, who is eager to develop their career within the charitable/non-profit sector and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.

This is a great chance for someone looking to move from commercial to voluntary sector recruitment or of course someone already from within the sector itself. Working in a friendly environment alongside employees of our charity, this is a great opportunity to create well needed funds

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Minimum 1yrs experience as a recruitment consultant
• A demonstrable track record of meeting &/or exceeding targets in a pressurised environment
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (esp. Word, Access, Outlook)
• A passion for the charity/voluntary sector
• Preferably degree qualified
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
