Description |
Working with one of UK’s leading charities, as Project Manager you would be responsible for developing and managing the charity of the year project to meet agreed objectives.
You would also meet income and expenditure targets (ensuring income is coded quickly and effectively) select suppliers and develop and maintain relationships between the organisation, clients and third party organisations.
You would be the budget holder who signs off invoices and work in partnership with localities to ensure participation in the project. You would also devise, develop and implement marketing plans and budgets to fulfil the partnership. Additionally, you would keep up to date with market developments, undertake competitor analysis, evaluate the performance of events and make recommendations to the Events Manager.
You role would also consist of working with the marketing team to produce branded materials as well as putting together a marketing strategy. You would manage printers and designers and work with events organisers, undertaking copywriting for the web and event newsletters.
Moreover, you would ensure a consistently high level of customer care, representing the organisation at external events in order to encourage donor retention and repeat support.
The ideal candidate would at least 2 years’ fundraising, project management or marketing experience (ideally in events fundraising), the ability to manage complex projects and a proven track record of exceeding targets.
You should also possess excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills as well as negotiation and influencing skills.
