Description |
The charity has an opening within our busy Conference Centre for a permanent, part-time Conference Facilities Assistant.
The two main purposes of this role are to ensure the smooth day-to-day preparation of the room set-ups and to maintain the equipment and immediate premises to an agreed standard.
Reporting to the Conferencing Supervisor, tasks set will include responsibilities such as the carrying, lifting and moving of conference room furniture and equipment, maintaining the water bottle supplies in the conference rooms, assist with the setting up of sound and visual equipment and adhoc maintenance duties such as replacing lightbulbs, refreshing paintwork and maintaining the appearances of the main entrance areas which may include some light gardening work.
This role is based on 3 hours a day, worked Monday – Friday, with flexibility on the timings of each day depending on the demands of the business, agreed in advance.
Earliest start time could be 8.00am and the latest finish time of 6.00pm.
This role is one of 15 hours per week.
