The Executive Director is a dynamic leader capable of advocating for CHAA's goals among governments and decision/opinion makers in the Caribbean, and should demonstrate expertise in networking and strategising with local advocates on key populations as it relates to HIV issues. S/he will coordinate the work of special consultants, as needed, and manage day‐to‐day operations of the organisation and its staff. S/he is ultimately responsible for the implementation of the organisation’s strategic plan as directed by the CHAA Board. The Executive Director will ensure that the organisation is focussed on achieving its objectives and delivering a product that will achieve the forecasted benefits. S/he will ensure that the organisation gives value for money, ensuring a cost-conscious approach to projects/donors, balancing the demands of the business, user and supplier; while ensuring organisational growth, development and sustainability.
